Recreational scuba divers can use this Dive Planner to plan dives that avoid the need for decompression when ascending. Warnings are displayed when dive parameters exceed the limits of "no decompression" dives or come close enough to the limits to require a safety stop.

For single dives, enter the planned depth (in meters or feet) and press the NDL button to calculate the maximum bottom time that stays within the no decompression limit.

For two dives, enter the planned depth and bottom time for each dive and press the Min button to calculate the minimum surface interval between the dives that avoids the need for decompression when ascending from the second dive.

For more than two dives, dive parameters may be entered for as many as nine dives and the minimum surface interval calculated between each pair of dives.

Calculations are consistent with PADI recommendations, so the Dive Planner avoids the need for traditional dive tables. Residual nitrogen groups may be specified for instructional purposes.

Disclaimer: This Dive Planner is intended for use only by trained scuba divers when planning fresh air, no decompression dives at altitudes less than 1000 feet and should not replace a wearable dive computer.
